Christina Bieber Lake is a professor of English (emerita) at Wheaton College. A Flannery O’Connor scholar, she is author most recently of Beyond the Story: American Literary Fiction and the Limits of Materialism. She speaks and writes on contemporary American fiction and culture, theological anthropology, and technology. An award-winning teacher, she also frequently leads faculty development seminars and retreats.
