Derek W. Taylor is the founding director of the Emmaus Scholars Program and a lecturer in theology at Whitworth University. He is the author of Reading Scripture as the Church: Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Hermeneutic of Discipleship (IVP Academic, 2020) and lives in Spokane, Washington, with his wife, Lauren, and their two sons.
