Samuel Kimbriel

Samuel Kimbriel is a political philosopher living in Washington, DC. He is part of an emerging generation of communitarian thinkers, and writes on themes of solidarity, ideology, power, loneliness, and trust. He is author of Friendship as Sacred Knowing: Overcoming Isolation and holds MPhil and PhD degrees from the University of Cambridge. In addition to his academic roles, he consults widely for think tanks and other organizations seeking to bring philosophy more directly into public conversation.
