Philip Ney

Philip Ney lives with his friends in L’Arche Jubilee House in Courtenay, British Columbia. He had some extraordinary teachers at the University of Lethbridge (B.A. Political Science and Economics) and at Princeton University (Master in Public Affairs), but credits several of his current housemates as among his best yet. His current teachers are distinguished for their abilities—rare in our technology-driven, consumerist society—to model and inspire hospitality and unqualified acceptance. Working for L’Arche Comox Valley, Philip supports people with developmental disabilities in realizing their hopes as neighbours, workers, and citizens. He loves exploring hiking trails on Canada’s west coast.
