Walter Brueggemann

Walter Brueggemann is an Old Testament scholar ordained in the United Church of Christ. For may years he served as William Marcellus McPheeters Professor of Old Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary. He is the author of over one hundred books, including The Prophetic Imagination (originally published 1978) and Theology of the Old Testament (1997).
