Christine Jeske

Christine Jeske is an associate professor of anthropology at Wheaton College and author of four books. After a decade working in microfinance, refugee resettlement, and community development in Nicaragua, China, and South Africa, she moved to an old Wisconsin farm named the Sanctuary. There she cares for an ever-shifting combination of weeds, chickens, sheep, pigs, guests, two grown children, and one wonderful husband. Her forthcoming book, Racial Justice for the Long Haul (InterVarsity Press), traces how Christians develop lasting pursuits of racial justice.
