Jean-Christophe Jasmin

Jean-Christophe (JC) Jasmin currently serves as the director of external affairs at the Réseau Évangélique du Québec, a network of French-speaking Protestant ministries and churches. He earned his MA in political science from the University of Ottawa in 2010 and is completing an MA in theology. After holding various positions in the Canadian public service, he served as a pastor in Montréal from 2011 to 2019 before leading public advocacy initiatives for Quebec’s French-speaking Protestant community. He also leads the Forum Foi et Espace Public (Forum for faith in the public square), an organization dedicated to fostering dialogue with religious and secular leaders about the role faith plays in society’s quest for the common good. The first in his line to do so in three hundred years, he lives just outside the Island of Montreal with his wife, Sandra, and three teenage children.
