Joel Kok

Rev. Dr. Joel Kok serves as pastor at Willowdale Christian Reformed Church in Toronto. Kok earned a B.A. from Calvin College (1982), an M.Div. from Calvin Seminary (1986), and a Ph.D. in the History of Christianity from Duke University (1993). Before coming to Willowdale in Toronto, Kok served Christian Reformed Churches in Michigan, Iowa, and Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Tricia, have three children. His heart still beats for the Philadelphia Phillies (especially Roy Halladay), but he also believes the Toronto Blue Jays will win the American League East in 2013.
