John Lippitt

John Lippitt is professor of philosophy and director of the Institute for Ethics & Society at the University of Notre Dame Australia. He also holds honorary professorships at Deakin University and the University of Hertfordshire. His most recent book is Love’s Forgiveness: Kierkegaard, Resentment, Humility and Hope (Oxford University Press, 2020). John has also served as an ethics advisor to police forces in the United Kingdom. A British citizen, he currently lives in Sydney with his wife Sylvie, a film and media scholar.
