Jonathan Patrick

Jonathan Patrick is an associate professor at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. His research centres on the application of mathematical models to health care management decision problems and in particular scheduling and capacity planning problems. The goal is to provide mathematical tools that can help determine the necessary capacity and the optimal schedule so that patients receive service in a timely fashion. He did his Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia in Operations and Logistics. He is married to Jennifer Patrick and they are blessed with four sons and a daughter.
