Laura Meijer

Laura Meijer graduated in 2005 from Redeemer University College, Ancaster, Ontario, towing a B.A. in English and Studio Art. Currently she is working as a Human Resources Assistant for a community health care provider, and is taking night courses at the Dundas Valley School of Art (ranging from pottery, to life drawing, and figure painting).

Favouring oil paints and charcoal, Laura hasn’t quite settle on her medium or style of choice. Pairing her love of the Arts and her affection for meeting other artists and strangers, she loves living in Hamilton (Ont.), as it offers a great independant Artist community: The James Street Art Crawl being her new favourite monthly adventure. She has a few commissions on the go at the moment and hopes to host an exhibition with other Redeemer Alumni next year.
