Lisa Walcott

Lisa Walcott is a Michigan-based multidisciplinary artist who gives gesture to objects, creates uncanny juxtapositions, and loves to elevate a poetic moment when she can, while keeping her tongue in cheek. Her work is influenced by mundane moments found in home life, cinema and writing and often stem from acute observation. Walcott received her BA in Art from Trinity Christian College in 2005 and her MFA in Sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2010.
