Max Stackhouse

Dr. Max Stackhouse is the Rimmer and Ruth de Vries Professor of Reformed Theology and Public Life Emeritus at Princeton Theological Seminary, New Jersey.

He is the author or editor of numerous works?including God and Globalization and Covenant & Commitments: Faith, Family & Economic Life?in which he invites a “public theological” discussion, intended for those outside as well as inside the church to shape the common life.

He is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, President of the American Theological Society and of the Berkshire Institute for Theology and the Arts, and founder of the Kuyper Center for Public Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary.
