Micah Mattix is Assistant Professor in Literature at Houston Baptist University and the review editor of The City, a journal of Christian thought from Houston Baptist University. His essays and reviews have appeared in First Things, America, Touchstone, Books & Culture, and Octopus Magazine, among others. His book, Frank O’Hara and the Poetics of Saying ‘I’, will be co-published by Rowman and Littlefield and Fairleigh Dickinson University Press in early 2011.
