Ray Blunt

Ray Blunt is the Associate Director of The Washington Institute for Faith, Vocation & Culture, and the Adjunct Professor for Leadership and Business Ethics at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

An Air Force Academy graduate, and a 35-year senior executive, he now focuses on growing the next generation of servant leaders as teacher, consultant, writer and mentor. Ray serves on the Board of the Institute for Classical Schools, is the author of Developing Leadership: Growing the Next Generation of Public Service Leaders, and is a contributor to The Jossey-Bass Reader on Non Profit and Public Leadership. He is on an Odyssian quest to finally complete a manuscript on the leadership lessons from Thomas Jefferson and William Wilberforce and the ending of slavery.

An avid kayaker and dog walker of Sadie, he is B.J.’s husband of 46 years and the father of two grown children, and grandfather to five aspiring servant leaders and classical scholars.
