. . . This week’s fabulous Christmas poetry meditation by Deborah Bowen quotes a poet from Cardus’ own backyard: Hamilton, Ontario. Two or Three Guitars is a selection of poems culled from John Terpstra‘s seven previous books of poetry, including The Church Not Made with Hands, where “The Little Towns of Bethlehem” first appeared. His most recent work, Skin Boat: Acts of Faith and Other Navigations, a frank and poetic reflection of faith and church in a secular era, appeared this fall. Comment wants you to read more of Terpstra’s work. Visit his publisher’s site, www.gaspereau.com.
. . . Comment wishes each and every reader a very good Christmas season.
