James R. Wood

James R. Wood is a doctoral candidate in theology at Wycliffe College (University of Toronto). His dissertation, currently underway, is on de Lubac’s sacramental ecclesiology. His broader research interests focus on political theology, ecclesiology, and sacramental theology. He has published essays on these themes in both academic and popular journals with reference to the thought of Augustine, Hans Urs von Balthasar, Sergei Bulgakov, John Calvin, Gustavo Gutiérrez, de Lubac, John Nevin, and others. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and four daughters.
