Philip Graubart is a rabbi and writer living in San Diego, California. He has led congregations in Massachusetts and California and served in leadership positions at the National Yiddish Book Center, the Shalom Hartman Institute, and the San Diego Jewish Academy. He has published six novels, including Silwan and The Planet of the Jews. His latest book, Here There Is No Why, will be published this summer.
