Tiffany Thompson

Tiffany is a cultural strategist, artist, and producer who integrates creative imagination and collaborative execution to lead teams and bring ideas to life. She joins Comment Magazine as its first Executive Editor, bringing nearly two decades of experience spanning the US intelligence community, American nonprofit leadership, and global corporate and artistic engagements.

A former leadership analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency, Tiffany later served as the Content Manager for CIA.gov, where she oversaw strategy and public communication. Her career since has included leadership roles with the executive member communities Alder and BLKSHP, developing arts-based executive learning experiences, and creating a socially conscious performing artist platform.

In 2021, Tiffany founded Artistic Leadership, a consultancy that helps organizations unleash creative collaboration in service of culture. Her clients include PTTOW!, Cognitiv, Odgers Berndtson, the Agricultural Leadership Program of California, Center for Creative Leadership, and more.

Alongside her organizational work, Tiffany maintains an active artistic practice—composing and performing music, writing essays, and practicing a contemporary approach to Kintsugi. She has been a featured teaching artist for institutions such as Oxford University’s The Oxford Character Project, John Brown University, and Wake Forest University. Her discography includes more than a dozen commercial releases, with her forthcoming 16-month project Found Love (2025–2026) pairing music with essays, photography, and video.

Raised in Moscow, Russia, and now based in North Carolina, Tiffany’s global perspective informs her conviction that flourishing communities are rooted in beauty and practicing co-creation. She is a 2025 delegate to the US-Japan Leadership Program and has been recognized with multiple artist residencies and awards for her creative and teaching work. She is a graduate of Wheaton College in Illinois and studied at Moscow State University. Tiffany enjoys writing poems, watercolor painting, hosting tea parties, and lifting weights. She is an avid reader, walker, and fan of Bob Dylan.
